Hi, I'm David

Dad for 7 years, husband for 8 years, designer for almost 20 years... yikes! Currently working on the design, development and user experience for what is going to be the leading online tire retailer in the US.

I'm a creative problem solver and have amassed a huge amount of front-end development experience allowing me to design and build pixel-perfect creative solutions.

After 3 years at Fife College doing my HND and Advanced Diploma I started my career in 'The Lang Toun' Kirkcaldy in 2000 at Indigo Bridge as a graphic and web designer. I progressed to Senior Designer within the same group of companies, then spent a few years as a Design Manager where I built an internal web design agency with an IT business. I then joined Blackcircles as the Senior Designer and Front-end Developer for 7.5 years working closely with Marketing and IT/Development teams.

I now lead the UX and UI design, and front-end development working closely with both the marketing team and development team to align priorities and deliver features across the website.

I love keeping active whether that's running around a tennis court, keeping fit in the gym, or walking up a hill when the Scottish weather permits! I enjoy getting out to work on my car, gaming, and a bit of landscaping in the garden.
